While chatting with Therapy in the Making last night, I discovered an important lapse in his education.

He has no idea who Susan Powter is.

WHA????

Ok, granted, I have about 10 years on him AND he grew up across the ocean, but still. A phenomenon, a human tornado, a tour de force such as Susan Powter is internationally known (but I don’t know if she rocks a microphone).

This conversation came about because we were talking about “celebrities” we follow on Twitter. Therapy in the Making recently discovered the magic that is Chelsea Lately, and I mentioned she was on Twitter. He follows Eddie Izzard, who is a comedic genius but apparently like to just post photos he takes while out for a run. Hmm. I follow Susan Powter on Twitter — I was hoping for some zany “stop the insanity” tweets, but she’s pretty normal. Oh well.

Speaking of famous, the also internationally known Dave2 is up next for a few hours to blog atcha. I’ll be back when that shift is done. I think I’m going to head out for some coffee. It’s 1 p.m. here but it is so gloomy and gray from rain.
